Some suppliers' smallest order at this size is higher than their overall minimum. EcoEnclose prints 1–2 colors on kraft; the rest print full color.
When a small run makes sense
- Testing a design. Seeing your artwork on a real box catches problems a screen won't.
- A first product launch, before you know how fast you'll sell.
- Limited editions and gifts, where a few dozen boxes is all you need.
- Short on storage. 250 flat mailers take up more room than most people expect.
When to order more instead
Once you know the box works, the per-box price drops fast. Check the price breaks: often 100 costs only a little more in total than 50. Watch for the reverse too. At some suppliers a bigger tier costs the same or more per box, which our price trap guide covers.
