How we make money

Supply Run is free to use. We earn in a few ways, and we tell you about every one of them. None of them change which suppliers we show or the order we show them in.

Where the money comes from

• Supplier commissions. Some suppliers pay us a small share (usually around 5%) when you order through our links. You pay the same price either way.
• Shipping software referrals. A few shipping tools pay a one-time fee when someone signs up for a paid plan. We also list Pirate Ship, which pays us nothing, because it's the right pick for many new sellers.
• Amazon. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. We use Amazon links only for generic add-ons like tape and crinkle fill.
• Design help. We sell fixed-price packaging design, set up on your supplier's template. That's a service you pay us for directly.
• Big-order quotes. Our free quote help for large or custom runs may lead to referral fees from manufacturers in the future. If that happens, we'll say so on the quotes we send you.

Which suppliers pay us

Suppliers that pay us nothing are ranked exactly the same way as the ones that do. Sometimes they're our top pick.

How we rank suppliers

• Cheapest sorts by the total cost of your order, including one-time fees like plate charges. Shipping isn't included yet.
• Best value weighs the price per box (a little more than half the score) against the supplier's Trustpilot rating. Ratings backed by only a few dozen reviews count for less than ratings backed by thousands.
• "Our pick for" labels and Supply Run's take are our own reading of prices, specs and recent reviews.

Commission rates are not an input to any of this.

Where prices come from

We collect prices from each supplier's public quote tool and refresh them monthly. The current prices were checked Nov 2, 2026. Prices change, so always confirm on the supplier's site before you order, and order a sample before a large run.

What we never do

• Sell placement in the rankings.
• Hide a supplier because it doesn't pay us.
• Sell or rent your email address.
